Robert Earl James, 68, of Scott, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 13th, 2014. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas June 22nd, 1945 to William Earl James and Eunice Glass James.
Robert was a farmer and business man. He was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: William James and one niece: Joy James Edwards.
He is survived by his daughter: Jo Beth Singleton and her husband Troy of North Little Rock; one son: Robert Earl James, Jr. of Little Rock; one brother: Paul James and wife Rose of Scott. Also his cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be Sunday, March 16th, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. at the New Life Pentecostal Church, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be Saturday, March 15th from 6-8:00 P. M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.

I have such fond memories of growing up in Galloway and having Robert Earl and family as neighbors and friends. Robert Earl was always quick with a laugh and a joke & wore his heart on his sleeve. So sorry to hear about Robert Earl while at church today. I attend All Souls at Scott and we had prayers for your family during Sunday School. I remember happy times at Galloway.
JoBeth, Robert Jr, and Paul, Luola & I have some special memories of the farm and Robert Earl. Plus all the respect he had for Dad.

JoBeth I am so sorry you have done all you could to help you dad. I feel your pain my mother died the 15th of March last year. You will miss him so but know he is in a place of peace and no pain.
