Oran Charles Harper, 88, of England, Arkansas died Monday, May 7th, 2012. He was born Saturday, October 27th, 1923 to Claude and Ila Harper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Cecil Harper and Paul Harper and a sister-in-law: Doris Harper. He is survived by his wife of sixty years: Billie West Harper; two daughters: Donna Archer and her husband Gary of Greenwood, Mississippi and Elizabeth Lyons of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Marc (Laura Anne) Archer and Rosanne (Rich) Hodges all of Greenwood, Franklin Lyons of England, Arkansas and Peyton (Loren) Lyons of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Also five great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law: Lucille Harper of Lonoke, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be held at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Brother Joe Johnson will officiate at the service. The services are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home, (501) 842-3939. There will be no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be sent to the Church of Christ, 215 St. John, England, Arkansas, 72046.
