James "Frank" McHam

of Bee Branch, AR

September 22, 1971 - August 10, 2018

James "Frank" McHam, 46, of Bee Branch was born September 22, 1971 in Conway, Arkansas and went to be with his Lord on August 10, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jim McHam, grandparents; Joe F. McHam and Gladys Alsup McHam, aunt, Jo Ann McHam-Scroggins, and his uncle, Jimmey Ray Gaither McHam, whom he lovingly referred to as Uncle Butch.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Melinda Kay McHam, sons; Wyatt McHam of Conway, Ian Lachowsky of Conway, daughter, Stormi McHam of the home, a special Aunt, Susie, that took special care of Frank at every time of need in his life, sisters, Shona Sue Montgomery of Greenbrier, Christy Lockard of Cabot, a cousin, whom he loved as a sister, Debbie Crosby of Greenbrier, a friend, whom he loved as a brother, Jeff Brown, numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Frank loved his family with all of his heart. He was the kindest, most caring person you could ever meet. His heart always resided in Bee Branch, Arkansas and with its people. He never met a stranger. Frank loved, Snappy's, a local food mart and convenience store. He loved their gizzards and they even named a burger after him, the Frank Burger. Frank was competitive and loved sports, he raised his children on a softball field and looked to those days as the best of his life. His favorite professional teams were the Cowboys and the Cardinals. He was a fan in good times and bad.

Frank always put others before himself. Words could never adequately describe the wonderful human being that God graced us with by giving us Frank.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Bee Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Brown and Pastor Craig Golden officiating. Although time and distance have separated Frank from some of his dearest friends, they were never far from his heart. The family respectfully requests casual, come as you are attire as we celebrate Frank's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Side - Bee Branch Chapter of the Future Farmers of America.

Frank was more like a little brother to me than a brother in law. He could give any sports stay at the blink of an eye. I used to ask him things just to see how fast he could answer. He was amazing
He knew every single paper on his routes. He amazed me at how he knew every house without a doubt. He caused me to have vertigo because he turned around so fast.
Frank love with everything he had and then some. I was very blessed to have had him in my life. Christmas was always a biggie for him. There was no excuse not to be at our big Christmas breakfast. We acted silly , sang songs and ate big. First and foremost we honored our Lord Jesus Christ. Frank was a huge family man. Blood did not matter. His friends were family too. He couldn't stand to see someone without a family for the holidays. The doors were always open.
Melinda was so truly blessed and she knew it. Stormi was the apple of her daddy's eye. Frank was very proud of the boys. Wyatt was daddy's liuboy. Even tho he wasn't Ian's biological dad he was so very proud of the man he had become.
As in any family they had their bumps but there was never any divio. It was not tolerated. No half anything and no step either. Only brothers and sisters.
RIP little brother. Ill always be honored knowing that your my little brother. Watch ok bet us and give us a nudge every now and then. Jerk us back in line when we mess up. Well always remember the love and happiness that you spread around.
God bless you Frank. No more pain. That's a great comfort knowing that you no longer hurt.
Give old Babe a break once in awhile. I'm sure you've already looked him up. Until we meet again little brother walk high among the angels.

Melinda, Our hearts go out to you as our prayers go up. The loss of such a magnitude as this one of such a great Husband, Father & Friend doesn't go unnoticed in our community. Mr.Frank was deeply loved. And just as deeply as our love for him. It goes over on to you and your precious children. My prayer are this.....

That God Himself place a cover of His peace on each of you. That He holds you close and lets nothing form against you drawing closer to Him and each other. That He places a hedge of protection around each of you. That he bestows His sweet abundance of His Mercy, His Grace & His Love around you.

I pray that those left behind know beyond any doubt where Frank is today. And that they draw their lives more deeply to him in the coming days. That Frank's Legacy always be remembered and be known as not just that of a great loss. But most especially known as a loving father or a loving husband, but especially a loving Child of God. I pray that his loved ones cleave to that. And that his testimony that he left here on earth carries on into the hearts of his loved ones so that we can keep his example and grow in knowledge & faith drawing every step closer to God ourselves, just as he did. May God 'In Jesus Name' Bless each of you.
