Jerry Dean Donahue, 81, of Center Ridge, Arkansas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 5, 2018. He was born on July 21, 1936 to the late Fulton Alfred Donahue and Verletta Eliza Conklin of North English, Iowa.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Roberta Sue Chisam Donahue, one daughter, Pamela Donahue Huie, one grandson, Jonas Donahue, three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by: daughter, Debra Bledsoe and husband Keith, sons, Kevin Donahue and wife Aimee, Jay Donahue and wife Debbie, daughter, Laurie Donahue Flickinger and husband Rusty, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, one brother, Kenny Donahue of Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was one of the originals to start the Arkansas Cowboy Association in 1978. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the drums. He played with several different bands locally and all over the country. He loved to hunt and fish. He raised, bought and sold horses and rode them as well.

He spent his evenings on the porch with his wife Roberta, their dogs, Duke and Muffin, watching his cattle graze and baby calves playing.
Jerry and the family would like to thank everyone who visited, called, sent cards and prayed during his time of need. He loved and appreciated each and every one.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 9 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Lemings officiating. Interment will follow at Halbrook Cemetery in Austin, Arkansas.

Love and hugs and prayers to my cousins. I was so happy when I came to visit - too long ago. I got to trade barbs and laugh with Uncle Jerry and it was just the best. Such a fun loving man. I am sure we all will miss. 😢❤️🙏❤️😢

Uncle Jerry I will miss you greatly! You were always so awesome when I was able to visit with you.i send my prayers to your family in their time of heartache.
