Mary E. Gibbons 82, of Shirley, Arkansas left this world to be with the Lord on May 16, 2018 at 12:05am. She was born on June 10, 1935 in Memphis, Texas to the late William and Agnes (McEachern) Thompson.
Mary cooked at several restaurants around Shirley, Greers Ferry and Fairfield Bay as well and she and Gene owning Quail Creek Café, in which Mary took great pride.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene, son Ronald and grandson Adam.
Mary is survived by her sister Sandy Overly of Santan Valley, Arizona, brother, Gerald Thompson of Gilbert, of Arizona and three children; daughter, Pam (Jeff) Foster of Maryville, Missouri, sons, Kenneth (Mary Lou) and James both of Shirley, Arkansas, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mary requested that there would be no services, so you may remember her as she was.
She will be laid to rest at Davis Special Cemetery with her beloved husband, Gene.
