Clifford O. Richardson, 88 of Clinton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 11, 2017. He was born September 20, 1929 in Onia, Arkansas to the late Ellis and Onia (Taylor) Richardson.
Clifford honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Bea Richardson on November 20, 1954 in San Diego, California. They later moved to Clinton, Arkansas and he worked for the Arkansas Telephone Company over twenty years, until his retirement. Clifford was a volunteer firefighter for the Clinton Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and visiting with the granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and four infant brothers and sisters.
Left to remember him are his wife, Bea Richardson, of the home; one son, Craig Richardson (Kathy) of Clinton; one daughter, Jan Lewis (Tom) of Clinton; three granddaughters, Alayna Williams, Jasa Richardson, and Robin Shaver, twelve great grandchildren; and brother, Bill Richardson of Meriden, CT.
Funeral Arrangements are under the care of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, November 13, 2017 from 6-8pm and the Funeral service will be at 10:00AM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, AR. My prayers to Clifford's family. I fondly remember him and his parents. Ellis Richardson was a cousin to my Grandmother Vada Sheffield.
