Edward ''Ed'' Charles Harlan passed away unexpectedly in Angleton, Texas on August 29, 2017 at the age of 61.
Ed is survived by his mother B.M. ''Boots'' Harlan of Angleton, Texas; his children Hannah Harlan of Angleton, Texas and Ashlee Harlan of Danbury, Texas; his grandson Jonah Sanchez of Angleton, Texas; his sister and brother in law Diane and Larry Garrett of Fred, Texas; his nieces Nickie Valenti-Purcell of Angleton, Texas, Melissa Davenport of Wilmington, Delaware, and Lindsey Krebs of Broaddus, Texas; his great nieces and nephews Autumn Brinkley of Angleton, Texas, Cloe Brinkley of Gainesville, Florida, Mia Micah and Dean Davenport of Wilmington, Delaware, and Case and Carter Krebs of Broaddus, Texas; his aunts Jenny Hankins of Clinton, Arkansas and Willa Jean Teague of Shirley, Arkansas; various cousins and his best friends Robert and Paige Kaufman.
He is preceded in death by his father Charlie Harlan of Redding, California; his grandparents Everett and Willie Teague of Clinton, Arkansas and Elmer and Gladys Harlan of Richmond, California; his sister Natalie Harlan of Cordova, Tennessee; his uncles Clarence Harlan of Richmond, California, Emmett Teague, Keith Hankins, and Everett Teague Jr of Clinton Arkansas; and his great nephew Matt Smith of Angleton, Texas.
Ed was born on August 8, 1956 in Garberville, California. He worked for Mundy for 15 years at Chocolate Bayou . He also worked for the Brazosport Facts for several years. He was a Navy Veteran. He loved his birthplace of California and always wanted to visit. He loved to fish, and loved his dogs and his family.

Visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas, Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5:00pm- 7:00pm. The funeral service will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home September 9, 2017 at 2:00pm with interment to follow at PeeDee Cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.
