Darrel Dean Jones, 83, of Shirley, Arkansas was born January 29, 1934 in Rabbit Ridge, Arkansas to the late Loley and Elmer (Tindall) Jones, and went to be with his Lord, August 27, 2017 in Conway, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 51 years, Judy Jones, three brothers; Arlon Jones, Burl (Bee) Jones, and Royce Jones, two sisters; Carolyn McLaughlin and Joyce Greer.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons; Donnie Jones(Layna), Ronnie Jones (Trina), one daughter, Nancy Jones Berry (Donald), nine grandchildren; Andrea Brown (Keith), Heath Jones (Jayla), Brook Chandler (Bucky), Megan Stewart (Coy), Whitney Holland (Tyler), Jeremy Jones, Danielle Mannon (Brian), Natalie Berry, Tessa Berry, nine great-grandchildren; Bryant Brown, Bryce Brown, Lyla Jones, Carolyne Chandler, Harper Holland, Hayes Holland, Drake Stewart, Leo McNair, Emerson Mannon, two sisters; ImaLee Powers, Marylou Madison (Gary), brother-in-law, Kenny Greer, a host of nieces, nephews, his Church family and many close friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Shirley, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Eglantine Cemetery in Shirley, Arkansas.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Darrel was a great man who will be missed by many. Our loss here on earth is surely heaven's gain.

To the Jones family. I have known Darrel all his life. Both being born in Bee Branch, Arkansas. Arlon was married to my cousin and he was a good friend to me. Darrell was a good man.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God will help you get through this difficult time. You will see him again some day just trust in the Lord and ask him for guidance and strength.
