Helen Isabel Palangio, born September 22, 1924 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John Bishop and Sophie Bishop Zacchetti, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Salem Nursing Home in Conway, Arkansas.
She ran a cleaning store in Chicago, Illinois and was a professional tailor. Her last 40 years were spent in Arkansas establishing the 108 Ranch and raising beef cattle.
Helen enjoyed working on the farm and enjoyed life to its fullest while being a very independent person.
Her husband Nick, who was a pilot for American Airlines, preceded her in death in 1993. He also was a cancer victim.
She is survived by her son Nick J. Palangio and daughter in law Sharon Palangio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be at Noon on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Pine Mountain Cemetery in Damascus, Arkansas.
