June 7, 1922 - June 16, 2016

Georgia Rose (Tichy) Crowl, was born June 7,1922 in Nioabra, Nebraska to Albin and Rose (Kotraba) Tichy.  She passed away June 16, 2016 in Woodland, California at the age of 94. 
Georgia graduated from Verdigre High School in Verdigre,Nebraska in the class of 1940.  In the late 1940's when her girls were young, she went back to school and earned her LVN Nursing degree,in Orange County, California.

Georgia worked many years beside her husband.  They owned and operated a trucking and construction business in California.  After retirement, they moved to Formosa, Arkansas and raised Angus cattle.  They were also active and long standing members of the Formosa Church of Christ. She had many hobbies including sewing, gardening and crocheting.  But, she loved being outside most of all.

Georgia will be buried beside her beloved husband ''Pappy'' in Halbrook Cemetery on July 2, 2016.  There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM for family and friends at the Halbrook Cemetery in Austin, Arkansas.

Georgia is survived by daughters Carolyn  Burns of Knights Landing, California and Lynn Bell (Max) of Yuba City, California,  grand children; Cindy and Cherie Hood, Greg, Todd and Doug Montgomery, Kimberly Moore and Chris Tabon,  eleven great-grandchildren and  five great great-grandchildren, one sister Shirley Wavernuk of Nebraska, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husband Harold ''Pappy'' Crowl, daughter Judy Obbards, granddaughter Caryn Hood brothers; Rueben Tichy and Don Davis.

Officiant at the Memorial Service will be Bruce Bryant.

She was the best mom, she was a Browne and Girl Scout leader with her daughters. She was always there if we needed her. She was a Christian and attended church whenever she could. Love you and will miss you
