Loyd McKiney, 95, left this world for heaven on November 6, 2015. He was born March 10, 1920 in Elba, Arkansas to Floyd and Ruthie Cox McKiney.

He left behind a loving wife of 75 years, Lillie Guffey McKiney. Other survivors are Danny and Kay Brown, grandchildren , (Valton) Vickie Brown Sprott, all of Clinton, Morton (Traci) Brown of Pittsburgh, PA; great grandchildren, Josh Hensley, (Mark) Kristen Hensley Kiefer all of Conway, Lily, Harper, Henry and Reed Weatherford-Brown of Pittsburgh, PA and a whole host of ''adopted grandchildren'' including but not limited to (Brian) Desiree Sprott Lewis and Carrisa, Ashlyn and Kylie, Shalena, Serenity, Sapphire, Segan Appleby, Keara Sprott and Zaeya and Ava Benton, Tracy Bolden Black, Wesley aka ''Oscar'' Black, Tanya Bolden Huie, Tara Bolden Snider, Tanya Mackey, Merissa Main and other neighborhood kids who have grown up and moved away; a sister, Margie McKinney Barnett and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Doris Jean, parents and 8 other siblings.
Loyd was born in Elba, ''Elby'' to Floyd and Ruthie Cox McKiney.

He lived in the Van Buren and Stone county area all of his life with the exception of temporary displacement for work and his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a manual laborer from the time he was big enough to handle a hoe in his family's fields, in lumber mills, the log woods, share cropping, at the farmers co-op, with WPA, as a WWII airplane mechanic, school bus driver, lawnmower mechanic and a master vegetable gardener.

He was a Christian and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Pallbearers: Morton Brown, Valton Sprott, Josh Hensley, Mark Kiefer, Larry Bolden, and Hal Ward.

Honorary Pallbearer : Bill Guffey.

Visitation will be 10:00am and Funeral Service will be 11:00am Monday, November 9, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Danny Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery with U.S. Navy Military Honors.
