Katheryn Hubbard 97, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014. She was born April 8, 1917 in Choctaw, Arkansas to Jesse and Sarah Smith, one of ten children.

She grew up in Clinton where she graduated from high school. She married Lonzo Hubbard on Aug 3, 1935. Besides being a homemaker, she also held several outside jobs. Katheryn and Lonzo had three sons, Jack, Glen Dale and Larry Lee (Pete).

She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and one sister, her husband, Lonzo and son, Jack.

She is survived by her son, Glen & wife, Diane of Houston, Missouri; son, Larry (Pete) & Belinda of Austin, Arkansas. Four grandchildren, Tiffin & wife, Kim of Conway, AR; Teresa & husband, David Arthur of Houston, MO; Heath Hubbard of Fullerton, CA; Dana Hubbard of Austin, AR; 11 great-grandchildren, Luke & wife, Jodi Arthur; Caleb & wife, Rachel Arthur; Micah, Whitney, Tanner, Tori, Kaitlyn, Tiffany, Laurelise, Jillian & Sarah Grace Hubbard; 5 great-great grandchildren, Makenzi, Jordan, Jacob, Deacon and Delaney. She is also survived by her brother, Willard Smith of Russellville, AR; sister, Maudean Lewis of Columbia, MO; sisters, Minnie Lee and Annie Ruth Hale of Clinton, AR.

She is best known for her hand-quilting, sewing, singing, and her faithful commitment to her church family at First Assembly of God in Clinton, where she attended until the age of 92 when she was severely burned and was home bound. She was cared for by her sons, and great-granddaughters, Whitney and Anna Tori before suffering a stroke and being moved to Ozark Health Care in 2012.

Pallbearers: Luke Arthur, Caleb Arthur, David Arthur, Tanner Hubbard, Micah Hubbard, Tiffin Hubbard, and Jordan Arthur.

Visitation will be 1:00pm and Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Hunter Hill Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Katheryn's death. She was a vey special lady. I know she was a wonderful sister to Dad, who will miss her a great deal. I will always remember their birthdays were the same day only 2 years apart. My thoughts are with all the family at this sad time.
