Billy Joe West, 56, of Cave City, died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at a White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born in Fort Hood, Texas on November 13, 1958 to James Robert and Martha Lorraine (Milligan) West.
He was an artist and lived at a nursing home in Cave City where he enjoyed helping others with arts and crafts. Everyone there enjoyed being around him, especially his family.
Survivors include his parents, James and Martha West; a brother, David O'Neal West; and a sister, Sheliah West Horn, all of Cave City. He is also survived by two nieces, Taalyn James and Kassadee West both of Cave City, two nephews, Ryker Horn of Little Rock and Conner West of Cave City, and several aunts and uncles.
A private family burial will held at a later date.
Cremation services are by Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

I was so sorry to hear about Billy. Even though he had not been to my Friday morning musical exercise program at Cave City Nursing Home in several months I would see and speak to him in the hallway when I was there. He was always very polite to me and usually was on his way to take a shower. I am sorry for your loss. May God be with your family at this time.
