Loyce Billingsley, 83, of Violet Hill, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

Born December 29, 1932, in Izard County, Arkansas, he was the son of Obert Billingsley and Opal (Smith) Billingsley.

He enjoyed watching ''Gunsmoke'' and westerns in general and he was an avid Razorback fan. He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Violet Hill.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha (Yancey) Billingsley of Violet Hill; two sons, Ron Billingsley and his wife, Patty, of Jonesboro and Rick Billingsley of Violet Hill; two daughters, Cindy Weaver and her husband, Tim, of Melbourne and Saundria Ash and her husband, Lonnie, of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Amanda Hall and her husband, Joey, of Salem, Brooke Billingsley and Crista Billingsley of Jonesboro, Jordan Ash and his wife, Holly, of Conway, Nicholas Ash of Springfield, Missouri, Diane Gross and her husband, Brandon, of Mountain Home, Randal Billingsley of Violet Hill, Ashley Arnold and her husband, Kent, of Jonesboro, Adam Jones also of Jonesboro, Paul Billingsley and his wife, Ashley, and Cortney Billingsley all of Memphis; thirteen great-grandchildren; a niece, Margie Billingsley of Port Angeles, WA; and numerous other family members and friends. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Karen Billingsley of Memphis.

He was preceded in death his parents; one son, Mark Billingsley; two brothers, Bonnie Billingsley and Cecil Billingsley; and his grandparents, Dr. J.D. and Betty Smith.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Fairview Church in Violet Hill with Bro. Randy Bailey and Ron Billingsley officiating. Music will be provided by Bonnie Rush, Beverly and Don Glacier and Adam Jones.

Burial will follow Violet Hill Cemetery in Violet under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.

Pallbearers will be Adam Jones, Richard Billingsley, Ron Billingsley, Paul Billingsley, Jordan Ash, Nick Ash, and Randy Billingsley. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Weaver, Brandon Gross, Joey Hall, and Kent Arnold

Visitation is from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the church, prior to the service.
