Dear Carol and to the rest of your family,
What a surprise to see that Jack is no longer with us. It has been many years since we were with your family, but Jack and your family greatly influenced us to a time we would be having a family of our own. We always remember the respect, the joy, the fun and the faith your children had. We have had fond memories of swinging on the rope and into the river. Working in service, recreation and even meeting your children at Bethel. We have never forgotten Jack and look forward to seeing him in the resurrection. We have two children that I know you would enjoy meeting. (Now in their 30s). We have our first grandchild Kinley now 7 months.
You continue in our prayers. Respectfully yours Randy and Jan Stone

So sad to read about Jack, but at the same time it brings to mind many happy memories of time spent with your family--field service, assemblies, weddings, or meals shared around my mother or grandmother's table. This is a huge loss for you all and may Jehovah continue to strengthen you in days ahead.

James and Louise Lawrence's daughter

I have so many good memories of Jack. I remember our families gathering together at his mom and dad's farm and making homemade ice cream, each one of the kids taking a turn turning the crank. Most of all I remember his love for Jehovah. I look forward to seeing him in the New World.

As long as I live, I will remember Jack as he was starting out , building houses in Southside. In my memory, he will always be that young , hard working person. Trying to get started.
I regret the loss , not to just his family, but to us all.

I was saddened to learn of Jack's passing when I read it in the paper. I consider it a privilege to have known Jack. He was a man of integrity and that came out in everything that he did. Jack leaves behind that legacy in his family as he instilled it in each of you. Jack will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Our hearts break with yours. Please know our prayers have been added to the many that have without a doubt been said requesting Jehovah comfort you.
Brother Knight was so dynamic and feeling, and we never had the opportunity to work with him as a young man. What a joy it will be to work with him in paradise and see him full of vital energy once again!! Until that time may Jehovah continue to comort you with his everlasting arms.

Dearest Knight Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we learned about the loss of Jack. He was dearly loved and respected as a real shepherd in Jehovah's organization. His life was an example for us all.

Jack was such an easy person to talk with. His talks were just superlative. He was such a down to earth and humble person that made us feel cared for. He will be truly missed.

Our hearts and prayers are with all of the Knight family. Death is such an enemy. May his sleep in death be short. We look forward to the day of his resurrection to a perfect paradise.

Love,

Barbara and Dana Hilliard

Dear Knight Family,
I just heard from my cousin Carol Marshall that you all have lost your dear husband, father, grandfather and I think one who you would refer to as a good friend to man's enemy, death. I truly believe that Jack sat a standard and lived up to the standard that Jesus set in service to his heavenly father Jehovah. All though my limited time spent with him, Carol and the family made a big impression on me by seeing him leading his family in service to Jehovah, really living faith.
My heart goes out to you all, hoping and praying you all will put your trust in Jehovah's promise of a resurrection. In the means time draw close to each other as I'm sure you are already doing. Remember that your in our thoughts and prayers. May Jehovah strengthen each and every one of you.
Carol, please consider this a hugh hug for you. My second cousin Paula Marshall Monroe I've heard is on her way this evening for the visitation, so any hugs she gives you, please consider one from me. Love always Sister Bonnie Halstead

Our heart-felt sympathy go to Carol and the Knight family. They helped us so much by deed and example.

As we learned, they took us in field service, helped us understand Bible Truths from the scriptures and provided encouragement and Christian association with our family.

Jack and I sat next to each other at the Elder's conf. in Jonesboro and Jack was taking notes on every important point.

We will surely miss Brother Jack.

We are so sorry for your loss, please know the family is in our prayers.

It is hard to put into words what Jack was to me.
He wasn't a father to me nor was he a mentor, I have one of those I call him Dad.
But Jack treated me like one of his kids, he taught me things over the years directly and indirectly.
I looked up to him and learned from him. He was a spiritual brother.
Althought I served along side him I could never consider myself his equal ,he was a man I always felt like a boy around him.
In the end Jack was my friend. We will miss him

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Jack was such a warm and sincerely kind individual. He had an infectious grin and a way of making everyone feel welcome and involved.
I know - because even though I was new around here, he never treated me that way. Sweet, sweet Carole is just like that too - what angels those two are! I am so lucky to have been able to know both of them. I thank my Father in Heaven for these blessings in my life. My love to you all, Rachel

The Knight family is in our prayers. It will be a difficult time for you even though we know there is a resurrection. Even Jesus cried when Lazarus died. Our tears won't last for long. The kingdom will soon reign over this earth and make us rejoice. Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live.....the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." We are thinking of you with Christian love.
