Peggy, Shaver, 59, of Batesville, died Friday, January 10, 2014 at home.
She was born in Amhurst, Texas on March 21, 1954 to Harding and Rentha (Baker) Anderson. She retired from White Rodgers and was of the Baptist faith. She was a very caring, loving person; great sister, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. She loved to cook and after her retirement, she was a cook at Mount Pleasant School. Her grandchildren were her life.
Survivors include two daughters: Angie Carter and her husband, Chey of Melbourne and Kim Nephew and her husband, Patrick of Salado; two grandchildren: Makayla Carter and Tyler Nephew; one brother, Von Anderson of Batesville; seven sisters: Betty Jo Croslin, Linda Vickers, Karen Hudson all of Batesville, Joyce Long of Southside, Vickie Smith, Edith Moss and Wanda Aldrich also all of Batesville. Other survivors include two god-children: Olevia Ward and Lindsey Wetzel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Morris Shaver; one brother, Leroy Anderson; and three sisters: Sharon Kay Anderson, Brenda Kay Anderson, and Brenda Sue Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Smith, Joseph Neist, Lynn Croslin, Josh Hudson, Chris Hudson, Matt Hudson, and Jacob Long. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne with Vince Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Reeves Cemetery on Guion Road under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
I was so sad to hear that Peggy has passed away.
I know that all of you are lost without her.
