Linda Sue Smith, 67, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born Saturday, September 30, 1950 to Joseph Henry Barnes Sr., and Ittie Dell Pyron Barnes.
She is survived by her husband, Arlin Smith, of the home; one son, Jerry Smith (Melissa), of Marianna, Arkansas; two daughters, Renee Perry (Matthew), of Pulaski, Tennessee; Lee Conner (Curtis), of Marianna, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, two sisters, Carolyn Webb (Tiny), of Marianna, Arkansas; Georgia Johnston (Johnny), of Lexa, Arkansas; one brother, Norman Barnes (Joyce), of Marianna, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-grandchild, Bentley Ace McBride, five sisters, Inez Wilson, Pauline Williams, Minnie Bell Nichols, Genell DeGunion, Shirley Pruitt, and two brothers, Thomas Barnes and Joe Barnes, Jr.
Services for Linda will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at Marianna Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Kenneth Harman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 at Marianna Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow services at Central Cemetery.
