Velma Jenkins Horton, 84, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 in Forrest City, Arkansas. She was born September 8, 1933 in Moro, Arkansas to Clarence E. Boswell and Lorine Boswell.

Velma is survived by son, Ronnie Jenkins (Melinda) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and daughter, Robbie Roy (James) of West Memphis, Arkansas. Five grandchildren, Ronald Allen Jenkins, Jr., Christopher Lee Jenkins, James A. Roy, Blakely Jenkins and Jennifer Reed.Three sisters, Emma Smith of Grand Blanc, MI, Peggy Franklin of Burton, MI and Shirley McCormick of Longview, Texas.Two brothers, Clarence Boswell, Jr. of Haynes, Arkansas and Kenny Boswell (Betty) of Forrest City, Arkansas.A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Troy Boswell and Bob Boswell, one sister, Christine Smith.

Services will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Chapel. Visitation is Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. also at the Chapel.
