I feel fortunate to have grown up in a wonderful neighborhood on South Division Street and I have fond memories of all our good neighbors. The Millards lived right across the street though, and to me they were almost extended family members. I hardly did anything in my early years that didn't involve Mrs. Neil, Lucy, Josh, or Willie in some way. the thing I'll always remember about Willie was his big grin and infectious laugh. He had a unique ability to make those around him feel good. My condolences to Dee and family.
Love,
Billy
Thinking of Willie's family during this difficult time. Willie was my 2 doors down neighbor growing up on S. Division St. in West Point. RIP Willie.
Dee and Family,
So sorry to hear about Willie. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I know you will find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain.
Love, Hilda and Allyson
Jimmie Dee and Family,
So sorry to hear of Willie's death. I know you will miss him very much. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband.
Will and Kristi,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Millard. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
William was a loving husband & father. He loved his family, friends and the Ole Miss Rebels. I truly enjoyed visiting with him whenever our paths crossed and sharing stories. He always had a great big smile and an infectious laugh. I have many special memories over the 50+ years I have known William. Lee County and the world has lost a good man and friend. My prayer is that our Heavenly Father will administer His comfort and peace to Dee and her sweet family during this very difficult time. "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart" Psalm 27:14
So many wonderful memories of Willie and all his family. Miss Nell was a force of nature, Josh was Hollywood handsome and Lucy was beautiful and intelligent. It was always a delight to be around Willie, listen to his laugh and wait for him to come up with another prank. He made going to church when we were young a little more fun than it might have been. Rest well, Willie. We all love you around here.
Willie brightened everyone's day as we went through West Point schools. He certainly brightened mine: such a great guy. My sympathies to all.
Dee and Family, I am sorry for your loss of William . He will be remembered as a kind man who had a life well lived . You are in my prayers .
