James Sellers, 97, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born on January 21, 1918 to Henry Sellers and Roxie Holland Sellers.
Mr. Sellers is survived by three sons; Jimmy Sellers, Keith Sellers (Anita), Bobby Sellers, three daughters; Joyce Johnston (Jimmy), Glenda Martin, Ann McArthur (Larry), fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, one sister; Patsy Fant, two sons-in-law; Buddy Ray and Ronny Allen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Virginia Hicks Sellers; two daughters; Geraldine Ray, Cathy Allen and one grandson; Scott McArthur.
Memorials can be made to Rondo Baptist Church, 201 Esetes Street, Lexa, Arkansas 72335 and Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
Services for Mr. Sellers will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Rondo Baptist Church in Rondo, Arkansas at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas from 6:00-8:00 P.M. burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. I had the honor of being Bro. Sellers pastor in the late 70's. He was always a true christian friend and a huge asset to Rondo church. I'll be praying for his family and church.
