Sybil Ford McClendon, born January 22, 1932, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. She grew up in Atlanta, GA. Married Johnnie McClendon and came to live in Arkansas in 1950.
Preceded in death by her husband Johnnie McClendon, mother & father, Raymond and Lois Ford and a sister Marilyn Randall.
She is survived by two sons, Larry McClendon and wife Betty Jo of Marianna, AR and by Dr. Glenn McClendon and wife Leanna of Conway, AR Also, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Along with two brothers, Terry Ford and wife Elaine of Snelleville, GA and Melbert Ford and wife George Ann of Atlanta, GA. Also a brother in law Buddy McClendon and wife Ann of Marianna, AR. In addition she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. McClendon will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at Wall Chapel at 10:00 A.M. in Moro, Arkansas with Steve Shepard officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2014 from 6 8 P.M. at Roller- Citizens Funeral Home, in Marianna, Arkansas. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery. The Moore family extends their sympathy to the McClendon family in the death of Mrs. Sybil. We didn't know anything about the death until the Democrat came out on Wednesday. God will heal any of the thoughts about death in our families. God bless you all.
