Ms. Dorthy, Danielle and family I am so sorry for your loss. Wally was one of the funniest and cooliest guys I have ever known. There was never a dull moment when he came to visit us at the Courier-Index. He was definitely one of a kind unique person. I am so sorry to hear of Wally's passing. What an authentic human being. Wally had a light that shone from within. Everybody, but everybody, loved Wally. When Wally talked to you, he looked at you in the eyes and connected with you. I only knew him on a customer basis, but I felt like he would have such a good friend to have. Maybe that is the reason everybody took to Wally so easily....he felt like your long lost friend even when you just met him! Although I no longer live in the vicinity, I know that those around him more often, and of course, his family, will miss him greatly. Individuals like Wally aren't replaced, they are just forever remember. My prayers are with your family.
Sorry for your loss.
Wally was a real good friend but not seen in years, a lot of good memories. He will be missed .
Phyllis, I really hate to hear about Wally. He was a good man. I saw him when I came back out of the army but I don't think he remembered me since I was so young back then but I have very fond memories of you and Wally. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

WOW, Wally's gone, what a lick. Never met a soul that didn't like this guy. Unfiltered, take me or leave me, this is me and I ain't changing. That's Wally. He was always light years ahead of the rest of us in the cool department. Bottle rocket fights at the Porcupine Den and riding around in his Firebird. If Wally was there, it was it was going to fun. Always laughing, life of the party and loved everyone. Wherever he is now, I bet he has them laughing. Condolences to the family and we'll miss you buddy.
leslie and i are so sorry for your loss.

Ms. Dorothy and family, My heart is heavy for you all at the loss of Wally. He was a kind man who always had a good word for folks. I always loved his hair especially as it grayed. He was one of our coaches for the Powder Puff game in 1972 and we had some fun times at those practices. Smile today because he touched many lives and brought smiles to our faces. Dear Pickens Family.
I am so sorry to here of the loss of Wally. My heart goes out to you. He was a kind and gentle person with a loving spirit.
Wally and I had some wonderful times together. We danced together as often as we could, we both loved it. Wally was way ahead of his time in fashion, style, and acceptance of all types of people.. He put smiles on sad faces, and hope in broken hearts. I have not seen or talked to Wally
in 45 years, but my happy memories are still
on my mind.
My thoughts are with you all...Peace...
