White, Margaret Ann, 71 , of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee.. She was born December 12, 1942 to Thomas White and Ida Grantham White in Helena, Arkansas.
Ann is survived by her sister, Alice Allen (Cliff) of Marianna; one niece, Blakely Stokenbury (Scott); and her children, Sarah Kate, Caroline and Will. And devoted friends and Caretakers, Joyce Ellis & Mary Cole
.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Ida White; one nephew, William Bart Allen.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Marianna Memorial Park with Dr. Max Goins officiating.

Alice-
I just heard about Margaret Ann's passing. I am so sorry for you and the rest of your family. As Kay Rose mentioned, we were all classmates and friends throughout our school days. Margaret Ann was always a lovely, gentle lady even before the rest of us knew what that meant. Although she was quiet, she had a good sense of humor, and I was always glad that we were friends. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you....

I'm so sorry to hear about Margaret Ann. We were in the same home room all 12 grades in West Helena. She was such a sweet girl and very smart, and a good friend. My regret is that we lost touch after high school. Please know how much I'm thinking of you and your family.
