Willene B. Tilton, nee Nix, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister, was born in
Nix, Arkansas on August 14, 1919. She departed this life on January 10, 2014
at the age of 94. She was welcomed in heaven by her husband of 35 years,
Paul Tilton; her Mother Mary Nix; her father Samuel Nix; her brother Ross Nix;
also a grandson Gary Kettles, Jr., a great-granddaughter Bethany Winn, son-in-
law Ronny Ellis and grandson-in-law Donnie Stepp.
She was employed by and retired from Phillips-Van Heusen Shirt Factory in
Brinkley, Arkansas and a long-time faithful member of Moro Baptist Church.
Her proudest accomplishment is her large and loving family. She is survived by
seven children: Ross Kettles (Edith); Norma Crafton (Jim); Mary Ellis; Ron
Kettles, Sr. (Betty); Dianne Hanson (Tommy) Gary Kettles (Susie); and Marcella
Ross (Brian). Surviving grandchildren are Johnny Kettles (Sherrie); Vicki
Houston (Mark); Theresa Stepp; Lena Berry (Dan); Beccy Winn (Dennis); Don
Alexander (Debbie); Joey Alexander (Becky); Ronny Ellis Jr. (Debbie); Cyndy
Anspaugh (Jim); Ronnie Kettles, Jr.; Laura Mewborn; Molly Winston (Shannon);
Clayton Hanson (Carrie) Stephanie Kinzler (Clayton); Abigail Ross and
Roderick Ross; a sister, Lela Crafton of Sullivan, Missouri. There are also 30
great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, a niece, three nephews and
a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12 at Roller-Citizens
Funeral Home in Marianna, AR. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday
January 13 at Moro Baptist Church in Moro, AR. Flowers are welcome, or in
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to;

Mrs. Willene was a very nice lady. She was proud of her family.

Dear Mother, I love you and I am so very thankful you were my mother. How blessed I was and am. I could never have asked for a more wonderful mother. God really blessed us to allow you to be our mother. You were so good and loved us so much. You treated us all as if we were your favorite. Thanks and I will see you soon.
