Mr Starling was an elder at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ when I was growing up and attending there. I remember him and his wife, Estelle, as being such nice people. My parents thought very highly of him and he'll be missed by many. Our best wishes and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Robert and I were good friends with Lewis and Estelle for many years through Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and he will be missed. Lewis was always smiling and friendly, and eager to help with anything. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
We are saddened to learn of Mr. Starling's passing. We first met Mr. Starling in 1961 when Danny was in his freshman year of college. The Starlings opened their home to anyone who was a friend of Danny's, especially those interested in drag racing.
Mr. Starling was a great conversationalist and it was always a pleasure to talk with him on just about any subject. We know he will be missed by all who knew him.
With sincere sympathy,
Harold Higgins, Little Rock, and Mike "Grease" Pierce, Eureka Springs, Arkansas
My wife, Shelby and myself along with my sister Dytha (Starling) Sutton wish to offer our deepest heart felt condolences to the family of Lewis Starling. Although we have never met, I did meet Lewis many years ago (mid 40's) and communicated with him the past few years. I always enjoyed talking to Lewis and he provided me with family information. He will truly be missed by myself and my sister Dytha, and I am sure by all who knew him.
May God be with you all.
Love,
Marion (Mac) Starling, Shelby M Starling and Dytha D. (Starling) Sutton.
