So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Please accept our most sincere sympathy in the loss of Greg, more commonly known as "GG" at our house. Such a great man who was blessed with the desire and ability to work with the youth of our community for so many years. Hugs and prayers to his sweet wife Missy and his two wonderful boys, Clark and Carter. The Penick Boys Club will never be the same.

To Missy and the Boys,
My sincere condolences go out to you during the passing of GG. Pennick was my sons 2nd home 10 years ago ...It was because of the leadership of Greg that so many people felt comfortable leaving their kids each day . When I learned of Gregs passing it was from one young man who Greg had given his 1st job to.Gregs legacy will live on in the youth of Pennick . Over 30 Years at doing something is obvious that he was compassionate about his purpose. The City of Little Rock and Pennick will have a hard time filling his shoes. I pray that in the days ahead you will find strength!

Respectfully Sent,

You all are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. GG had such an impact on so many, we are thankful for the love, and friendship, and guidance that he has given Brittany during the time they had together at the Penick Boys & Girls Club and for always including her in your family gatherings. We are here for you all at any time. We love ya'll!

"GG" was one of our granddaughter's champions. We began rearing Karmyn after our daughter was brutally taken from us in March 2014. Due to Karmyn's special needs (development disability with autistic tendencies), we needed an atmosphere that was less structured than a traditional day care, yet still well-supervised, for her after-school care while we are at work. "GG" and the rest of the staff at Penick Boys & Girls Club welcomed her with open arms and watchful eyes. She has continued to thrive, in part because they were willing to take a chance on her. When we told Karmyn of his passing, she said, "He will come back to us with my Mama when God comes back. We will miss him but he is happy." In her innocence, she often gets things so very right. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. Nathan and Terry Bearden & Karmyn Ivey

Missy and sons, I was so saddened to learn of Greg's death. My sons played every sport at Penick so it's always been dear to me because of Greg. I just saw him Monday because of a scouting program I do there every Monday. My prayers go with you and I pray for Gods comfort to give you peace. I will miss him as many others will as their lives were touched by Greg and his always smiling face. Blessings to you and your sons.

Greg, thank you for your love and joy. You welcomed us and led by example.

Thank you for being Julie's "assistant" coach for Rachel like no one else. I see Harrison and Carter running up and down the court. I see your white suburban picking up Thomas at school to arrive at the club early for practice.

Popcorn never tasted so good at 7:30 am. Those were special times. Countless families just like us. Your spirit is with us GG.

Missy, Clark and Carter, we send our love. May the Peace of Christ blanket you.

Love,
Jeff, Julie, Thomas, Harrison, Rachel and George
