We were out of state and saddened to be unable to attend the service this week but our thoughts and prayers are with Jon's beloved family and friends in this time of grief. To Lisa and Jordyn and Leah please know that Jon was a great encouragement in Christian faith and service. I believe he was deeply admired and appreciated because of his kindness, selfless character, and positive outlook. He is and will be greatly missed by so many in this earthly life. May God give you healing, hope, comfort, and peace.

Zieske Family:

Lee Ann has been my closest friend since the day I met her when our dads were stationed in Panama (and that's when I met Jon). During those years, I felt like her family was my family, too. Since then, she would give me "family" updates when we spoke and shared what a wonderful family Jon has and how much he loved you. I was heartbroken to hear about Jon and my heart goes out to all of you, Jon's friends and loved ones. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in one another during this difficult time. God Bless You...

Jon was so helpful to me while transitioning to my first pastorate at Saddle Creek Church. He was a patient man with an infectious energy level. Jon's faith was in the Lord Jesus Christ. His death is by no means a good bye for those who trust in Jesus. We can look forward to the day of being reunited with him. Lisa, Alicia and I love you very much!

I was fortunate to know Jon since day one at Alotian. He always made you feel like the most important person in the room when he would converse with you. I was lucky enough to see him one last time a couple of months ago and its a moment I will forever remember. He is one of the greatest guys I have ever known and I am very fortunate that he was in my life. He will be greatly missed and the club will never be the same without him. It will take sometime getting used to not seeing that smile when you walk into the pro shop. We will miss you buddy!

Dear Lisa and family,
I know we have never met but I'm sure that you recieved plenty of Christmas cards from me and my family. I remember when Jon was 5 or 6 he told his mama I have a girlfriend and wanted to use the phone to call her. His Mama asked "what is her number" and he said "4" that was all just 4. He always brought a smile to my face and I feel honored to be his cousin. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time,
