Ewejin Cheah, age 43, of Little Rock, died Monday, April 3, 2017. Mr. Cheah was born October 1, 1973, in Penang, Malaysia to Boo Bee and Lay See Cheah.
He was a former owner of Gina's Chinese Kitchen and Sushi Bar, and a former Volleyball coach at UCA. While in Malaysia, he was an accomplished member of a volleyball team and was actively involved in badminton and golf throughout his lifetime. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He will be remembered for his generosity.
He is survived by his parents; wife, Gina Cheah; daughter, Anna Chung; grandson, Castiel Wu-Arribas; and sister Kim Phaik Cheah.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Roller Chenal Funeral, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the funeral home.

He was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Very genuine. He always had a smile on his face and I do t think he ever met a stranger. God bless his family.

Was so sorry to hear about Ewejin. He's been coming out to play volleyball with us for a few years, and he was always very nice, very friendly, and was always playing with a smile. He will be missed!
