Ruth Maxine Robertson, 91, of Hensley, passed away April 6, 2017. She was born January 21 ,1926. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Bill Robertson and her son, Larry Robertson; and daughter-in-law, Delone Robertson, wife of Billy.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie McCloud (Homer) of Malvern; sons, Billy Robertson of Hensley and Keith Robertson (Kathy) of Little Rock; sister, Peggy Specht; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Maxine was a dear kind lady. Her home was always open to feed her wonderful food to anyone who showed up at her door. She loved gardening, and canning everything she grew. She was a loving Mother and wife. She led her life by example.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300. Burial will follow at Woodson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Ms Maxain was in my Ladies SS Class. Ms Maxine would read and it was Music. We will miss Her. God Bless Her Family.

Our church family grew to love and appreciate Ms Maxine over the last couple of months. She was a dear sweet lady with lots of love to share and a wonderful smile that said " God is in control". We will miss her very much. Praying for the family as I know from experience how hard it is to loose a loved one. May you have peace and comfort during this sorrowful time.
