Emily Joy Bryant, 74, of Little Rock, passed away, Friday, March 17, 2017. She was born June 29, 1942 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Sol H. and Marjorie Kempner Levy.
She was an avid sports fan, loved cooking, square dancing with her husband, Jerry and caring for her dog, "Sugar". She was a member of Temple B'nai Israel.
Emily is preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Rae Kaufman. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jerry Bryant; daughter, Melinda Harp, sons, Jesse Jackson and Donald Jackson, nieces, Sheree Meyer and Dr. Missy Kaufman; nephew, Jay Kaufman; grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives.
Graveside service officiated by Rabbi Barry Block will be 10:00 A.M., Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Oakland-Fraternal Cemetery in Little Rock. Arrangements provided by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300.
