Mrs. Cook, it was such a joy assisting you for the four years I was employed at the Ridge. You were definitely one of my favorites. I'm now a Nurse, and I feel such an honor to have gotten to take care of a Grade A Nurse, as I've read from other guests who've commented, and the info from your obituary. Rest in Peace.

Katie was a nurse at the VA Hospital when I came as a new nurse in the early 1970's. I had a lot to learn and she taught me some important lessons that I would remember and use throughout my nursing career. She was a wonderful nurse and although I never saw her again after I left the VA in 1979 I never forgot her or what she taught me.
