We are very saddened to hear of the loss of our friend and co-worker David. I have worked with David from his start here and I can't tell you the difference he has made and what he has accomplish in so little time. He worked with focus and determination, but always with a kind and thoughtful demeanor.

I enjoyed talking with him about sports and his family who he cherished. Thoughts and prayers with you all

We are so sorry about the passing of your dear loved one. May the God of all comfort be with the entire family at this time. Although tears of sorrow may be shed now, God assures us that very soon we can all experience tears of joy at the prospect of seeing our loved ones again by means of a resurrection (John 5:28,29). When that time comes we will no longer experience the pain associated with losing a loved one. May these promises from our Heavenly Father help you to endure.

To the family of David Walker;
What a wonderful person David was. I have been working with him on a project since April of 2016 and he was always so kind to me. His appreciation for every little thing that was accomplished was shown in his mannerism. I am so sorry for your loss as the family. David will be greatly missed. Keep his memories close and they will lift you up during the sad times.

Please accept my sincerest condolences for your family's loss. I began working with David only a short time ago, but in that time, I was able to get to know him as someone who was very nice and laid-back, but someone who didn't mind joking and sharing a laugh with you. He will definitely be missed.

My continued thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope that throughout this difficult time your memories of him will give you peace and comfort.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Cross

David,
I'm gonna miss you :( You were a good friend & boss to me! You put up with a LOT at Girl Scouts of Ouachita Council but you never ever lost sight of what was best for the girls! I will never forget our early morning talks, our runs downtown to distribute coats & blankets to the homeless (a couple of which got a bit crazy)! You were always there for me but you always snatched me up when I screwed up!!! You were a special person in my life & I will always remember & appreciate you ;))) RIP my friend...I'll see ya on the other side ❤

I WILL FOREVER LOVE THIS MAN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! I owe so much to David Walker. David saw potential in me that I did not see in myself. He has given my the opportunity to grow professional and assisted me in seeking my full potential. He is family driven and passionate about whatever it is he is involved in. My God grant Mrs. Jay Jay Walker and the family with peace. My prayers will be with the Walker Family.

I still wonder how David stayed so calm working with all of us at the Girl Scouts. He was always kind, fair, and caring. He trusted me, and gave me responsibilities that helped me grow in my professional career. I will be forever grateful when he donated his sick leave to me when I had to go on bedrest with my middle son. It was an honor to work with him and he will be greatly missed.

David hired me for my first job out of college at the Girl Scouts. At first I was intimidated by the lone male in the office but then quickly learned that he was gentle and kind. Not to mention he had a fantastic dry sense of humor. He was a fair and honest boss who always did the right thing. During my years at the Girl Scouts he became somewhat of a father figure, not just to me but others. He always spoke so highly of his children and grandchildren. There was no question how much he loved you guys. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He truly made a big impact on my life and will be missed greatly.

To the family of David, it is a sad moment to hear of the loss of David. As Treasurer of CMSA, we had many times of conversation and made a point to sit together at conference and BOD meetings. I found him to be a very kind and compassionate man. I know he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a family man. I know all of you will deeply miss David, as will his friends and peers.

May God give you peace and comfort in your days ahead,
With Love, Cathy & Ron Campbell
