Whitney Anne Spencer Arrington

of Maumelle, AR

April 16, 1993 - December 5, 2016

Whitney Anne Spencer Arrington, of Maumelle, 23, passed away Monday December 5, 2016. She was saved and knew God.

She was born on April 16, 1993. She went to high school at Oak Grove. She was a beautiful young women both inside and out with a kind heart, a compassionate soul and the strength of a warrior. Whitney was funny, witty, and always smiling. She was always dragging stray animals home, another part of her compassionate soul. She had the face of an angel and always wore wings on her eyes. She chose to be an organ donor in her kindness and willingness in the event of her death to help other families save their loved ones. She was a devoted mother to the love of her life, her son Kaleb; a loving and feisty daughter who always ended her phone calls to her mom with "Love you more"; and an adored granddaughter. She will be deeply missed by family and friends and kept in our hearts forever and ever to the moon and back.

She is survived by her son, Kaleb Leon Wade Potts; Kaleb's father, Adam Potts; her mother, Amy Arrington; her father, Phillip Arrington of Fordyce; her sister, Alison Nicole Arrington of Paris, TN; her BFFs Payton, Sara and Lindsey; grandparents Jann Keesee and Renna Thomason and Pat and Sandra Keesee; her uncle and aunt, John and Lanae Esposito of LA and Uncle Jason Keesee; her aunt, Linda Barnes Gilbert of Fordyce; her cousins, Briana and Chance Esposito; her cousins, Rusty Arrington, Melissa Reid, Cory and Casey Barnes; and by her love, Matt Seigrist . She will be missed by many extended family and cousins.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas with Pastor P.J. Noland officiating. Family will receive friends following the service. Dress for the service will be casual.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a fund in the name of Whitney Arrington at Regions Bank in Maumelle. Donations may be emailed at https://dm2.gofund.me/whitney-arrington-fund.

I am shocked to hear of the tragic loss of Whitney. I know her through work. She would call and order supplies from me. I was very fond of her sweet and caring nature. No one can give you comfort, and it is hard to know what to say. Just remember there are many that suffer with you even though they are not next to you. Whitney lives on in the lives that she touched, and the happiness we feel every time we remember her.

Amy, even though I personally did not have the pleasure of knowing your Whitney, my mentally challenged daughter, Shelby knew her in school. In our recent conversations about what happened, she shared with me how Several times during high school, Whitney took up for her when she was being teased or made fun of because of her disability. You raised a beautiful and compassionate daughter and I'm personally thankful for her kindness to my Shelby. Were it not for me just getting out of the hospital, Shelby and I would have been there to honor her life with everyone else who knew her and loved you both! I hope I am able to visit with you soon. You are continually in my thoughts and prayers!.....Sandra Dorn Wyatt and Shelby Wyatt

Amy, we cannot begin to find the words to express how sorry we are for you and your family. I remember you telling many funny stories regarding Whitney while you were at Pinnacle. If there is anything at all that we can do, please don't hesitate to let us know. You are in our thoughts and special prayers.

My grandson DeVontae Malone graduated with Whitney. They were the best of friends. I did not know her personally, but through his eyes she was a sweetheart.Be encouraged and know that God is in control. Love Kaleb as long as you can and as much as you can because you all need that. May God hold you all close to his bosom as you go along this journey. Hugs and kisses. Sleep tight, Whitney.

Whitney and I went to school together. We always got in trouble for laughing. That's one thing I remember most about Whitney is her laugh and her continuous smile. You will be missed. Watch over us all especially your momma, sweet little boy and the rest of your family and friends. Say hi to my dad for me and I'll see you again one day.

We did not know your loved one Whitney, but we regret the sorrow you feel - we grieved the loss of a 21year old son who died in a motorcycle wreck. We can tell you that as time passes you will be able to remember more of the good times and dwell less on the loss of Whitney. We found that each person grieves in a different way and at different times, so we encourage each of you to allow for those differences in your families.
We are of the Christian faith and even in our pain we came to understand that God is still sovereign. May you find comfort as you walk through this “valley of the shadow of death” and may friends share their good memories of Whitney with you.
