My dear precious friend has gone to continue her existence with Jesus who she loved and served. I loved her so much, like a parent, good friend, confidant, mentor, all I needed as a teenager! She was only a few years older than me but oh so wise. How I loved her babies and helping take care of them. And over the years we drifted apart in space but never in our hearts, kept alive our friendship by letters, phone calls and visits. I promised her in June that I would see her again in heaven and we will meet up there. I shall miss her on this earth but have more to look forward to now in heaven. To her family I send my prayers, love and gratefulness for your sweet care of her during the final days she lived here on earth.
We are so sorry for your loss, but know that Aunt Della is in the arms of Jesus having a blast. We won't be separated long. We love y'all!!
I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loved one. May the fond memories shared with her and the resurrection hope Jesus spoke of in the Bible at John 5:28,29 be source of comfort during this time of grief and pain.
Della's eyes and the smile that made them gleam will always be a precious memory to us. She aged so graciously each year and always seemed to remain the same in appearance, actions, and hospitality. Many of us in the community never really noticed any difference nor did we realize her age until recently. A loss of someone so dear is painful. Our prayer is that god will provide the added love and comfort to each of you that only HE can supply.
There are not enough adjectives to describe this sweet, caring and lovely lady. My best childhood memories were spending sleep-overs at Mrs Perdue's home. She was always so upbeat and smiling with that twinkle in her eyes. This community was a better place for her living in it. Bill and I send our heartfelt condolences to all the family.
Deb, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. We love you all and if you need anything please don't hesitate to call on us.🌹
