I first met Jim Pat when I moved to Searcy in 1950; the first friend I made at school lived on his street and we all played in a tree house (just boards nailed across limbs). Later in life we formed a group of friends who played board games and cards and went to the movies. He owned his florist shop in Searcy then and was such a talent!! But most of all I remember his wit and humor. He really was a special spirit. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Nena,
I was so saddened to read of Jim's death in yesterdays paper. I hate that we've lost touch after marriage, but I fondly remember our amazing trip to Europe, bridge, and serving at each other's weddings. Where have the years gone? It looks like you have an amazing family, and pray that you are well. I hope that your memories will bring a smile to your face, your family will bring you strength, and your faith will bring you peace. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I knew Jim Pat at OBU many, many years ago and found him to be a delightful person. I send my sincere condolences to his family at this time.
Nena, Richard and I have been reminiscing about the beautiful Christmas parties, the float trip, and all of the wonderfully long conversations that entertained all in attendance. Jim Pat was a man of grace and style.
