Ruby Nell Knabe, 81, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2016. She was born on October 15, 1934 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Ruby married the love of her life, Everette Knabe on July 15, 1952 in Benton, Arkansas. She had two daughters whom she loved beyond measure and she absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mema, as she was known to her grandchildren, played an integral part in their lives. Singing, dancing, laughing and praying with them are just some of the memories they will cherish forever.

She is survived by her husband, Everette H. Knabe; two daughters, Sheila Murray (Jeff) and Tina Smith (William); five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Marilyn Norbury and Carolyn Womack; and two brothers, Johnny Campbell and Coy Campbell.

Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Everette D. Knabe; parents, Herman and Dessie Campbell; sisters, Marie Lawson and Loretta; and brother, LeRoy Campbell.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211 (501) 224-8300. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

EVERETTE ,SHEILA ,TINA ,AND FAMILY I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE PASSING OF MY DEAR FRIEND --- RUBY ! I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL LATE YESTERDAY . Forever in my heart. I can close my eyes and hear that wonderful laugh, or the holler she had for me when I came home on leave. She gave me my first chew. I won't say what Uncle Evert gave me, but I got sick on both. Sheila and Tina, my heart is with you and your families
