Dorothy Baker Snow, 99, wife of Donald L. Snow (deceased), daughter of John P. and Mabel Tomlinson Baker (both deceased) of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on May 6, 2016, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was formerly a teacher in the Zanesville, Ohio schools and later a research analyst (cryptologist) for the federal government in Washington, DC. She was educated at Ohio Wesleyan University and Ohio State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science. While at Ohio State she was on the debating team and represented her school in the Big Ten University competition.

She served in many capacities in the Public Health Service Officer's Wives' Club of Washington, DC and was active in the Girl Scouts of America. She also worked for and supported many charitable causes. She has been a member of the UAMS Medical Center Auxiliary and Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of Triune Sunday School class and a life member of the Women's Society.

She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Anne Snow of Columbia, SC, Diane Snow Javaid (Birjees Jamal Javaid) of Fairfax, VA, and Cynthia Snow Kopack (Robert J. Kopack, Jr.) of Paris, Arkansas. She also leaves three granddaughters: Elspeth Snow Murday of Redmond, WA, Alanna Snow Murday of Baltimore, MD and Lila Snow Javaid of Fairfax, VA and step-granddaughter Holly Elizabeth Kopack of Carlisle, AR and step-grandson Daniel Joseph Kopack of Fort Smith, AR. Other close and dear relatives are her nephew, John Baker of San Luis Obispo, CA and niece Mary Jo Benadum of Streetsboro, OH, nieces Kathleen Snow Macosko (Christopher) of Minneapolis, MN and Holly Snow Sullivan (Peter) of Bemis Point, NY, and nephews Michael Snow of Wayzata, MN and Peter Snow (Betsy) of Marathon, FL.

There will be a memorial service at Trinity United Methodist Church on May 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. The pastor officiating will be Rev. Phil Hathcock. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
