My dad is an amazing man. He always thought of his family. For being such a tough “guy”he was very sensitive when it came to his girls. He constantly hugged and kissed us, telling us how much he loved us, and how special we are to him. “Give me some sugar” was what he would say to us.

He always felt like he had to take care of me. When he found out, I was getting married to John, he was relieved to know he did not have to “worry” about me. That I would be taken care of for the rest of my life. He told me “John was the son he never had.”

Everyone I know loved my dad, and his many stories about being a police officer, jet pilot and a Marine in Vietnam. Everyone I know looked up to my dad, wishing they could be as good of a man as him.

Dad had the best sense of humor. I loved listening to his stories and never got tired of them, each time they made me laugh out loud.

When we had our daughter Jessie, it was a very proud moment for him. He always bragged about his granddaughter.

I am and always will be in AWE of my dad I know I won’t see him again until we meet in heaven, at least I have a TON of precious memories of my dad.

It's always hard to lose a loved one. Revalation 21:3,4 says "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Sandy and Nicole –
What an unspeakable loss! For a tough-as-nails Marine and longtime Law Enforcement Agent, Bob was one of the most gentle, caring men I have ever met. God must have broken the mold after he was born.
What a pleasure it has been to have known him these last few years. He will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of calling him friend.
Love you!
Denise

Sandy, our hearts are so heavy. Bob was such a dynamic presence that my first thought was that I couldn't believe he was gone. Then my second thought was that there is comfort in the realization that, for all of us who loved him so dearly, he'll never really be gone. We carry sweet memories that will keep Bob with us every time we are out at the range, or doing tax returns, or eating at Mike's Place. We grieve, but Don and I feel so blessed to have had his friendship all these years.

Sandy and Bob have been dear close friends whom we have loved for so many, many years, they were like family. This wonderful man, so full of LIFE, will be incredibly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Always the dedicated patriot, he was a proud Marine who served his country and fellow-man well throughout his life endeavors. Our hearts will forever hold treasures of endless joy and memories he brought into our lives.
Sandy and Nicole, we share your broken hearts at this most difficult time. May you feel God's loving arms surrounding and lifting you.

Sandy - Bob will be greatly missed. I couldn’t thank him enough for his help and guidance while serving on the Board of Directors with him. Never short on words…he kept me entertained with his military, law enforcement and aviation stories. He truly lived a full life and enjoyed every minute of it. I will always cherish his friendship. Kimberly and I will think of him often.

Sandy, my prayers are with you and yours. I've known Bob since 2009, when I joined CASA. He was quick to make me and others feel welcome. He was a great source of information regarding the shooting sports and was always willing to teach me and others, the nuances of the sport. He was a good friend, that I enjoyed shooting with and I will miss him. Bob leaves big shoes to fill at CASA.

Sandy...our thoughts and prayers are with your family in this sad time. I considered Bob a great friend in the shooting sports as well as a fellow police officer. We had great police stories to tell each other over the years we shot together. We worked together on several championship matches at CASA and we always came up with a winner of a match enjoyed by all. I will miss his smile and that funny laugh of his. A great man, indeed.
