Jim and Virginia were my friends at FUMC Maumelle. They were among the finest people I have had the priviledge to know, caring, fun and straightforward. You always knew where they stood in their own quiet way. I always smiled when I left our time together, sometimes because I felt I knew what they were thinking, but refrained from saying due to their consideration for the feelings for others. Your family has a great tradition of quiet strength to uphold. Mark

My condolences go out to the Crookson family. I had the pleasure of working with Jim and Virginia, at FBIHQ, as well as being in their carpool to and from work. I'll always remember some of our experiences getting to and from work, especially during big snow storms--sometimes just getting to work and then being released to go back home took the entire day. The car pool trips provided special time with them. We heard about son Jim and daughter Cathy, and Virginia'a life as daugher of an FBI Agent back in the day. I feel fortunate to have had them as my friends.

It was such a pleasure to work with Jim and Virginia at FBIHQ. They were just awesome people and so caring of their family. Co-Workers became like family. My thoughts and prayers are with their family and friends.

I had the pleasure-indeed the privilege-of working with Jim AND Virginia during two assignments to FBIHQ. They personified all of the very best qualities of the FBI. The Crookston family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to your family, I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Jim and Virgina at FUMC in Maumelle. They were the nicest people, friendly, full of knowledge and especailly their love for the church and it's members. Jim was very soft spoken but he loved people. Jim will be greatly missed.
