To Joyce's family. I just heard about Joyce's passing last Friday. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. Every time I have been in the OR Joyce was there to hold my hand to keep me calm and laughing. She made very painful procedures tolerable. This time she was not there to hold my hand. I want you to know how special she was and how she touched my life. I also worked with her when I worked in the surgery department we became buddies the first time we met. I pray that Jehovah and Jesus will keep her safe in their bosoms and that you have comfort and peace.
I knew Joyce through our shared "break times" at the VA. I only learned of her passing a couple of days ago because I had moved across the street to UAMS in March. I am so glad she had stopped by the break area to visit prior to that because I was able to give her a good hug and let her know that she was loved--that her life mattered. Joyce was a good human and her sassy spirit will be missed and remembered.
You have been an inspiration.
God allowed us to have you in our lives. You will be missed.
Joyce and I worked together in the VA operating room. She shared her vast knowledge with me and was always kind to me. Rest in peace, Lenna O'Dell
Joyce,
You will be missed. Thank you for being a part of my life. May you rest in peace.

To Andrew, it was an honor and privilege taking care of your mother. Even though she was the victim of such a mean disease, she never let it overtake her thoughts or her way of thinking (STRONG).This is what I will always remember. She was a woman of love, humble, very grateful and kind-hearted. Thank you for sharing her with me.
Andrew,
I will miss your mom tremendously. My comfort is in
knowing she is in a better place. We know she will be watching over us.
May she rest in peace!
Love u,
Patty
