Doyle O. OdomI am a Veteran.

of Greenbrier, AR

January 18, 1930 - June 16, 2018

Our Dad, Gramp, and Husband, Doyle Odom, went to be with Jesus on June 16, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ethridge Odom of 66 years, two sons, Gary Odom, David Odom (Kim) all of Wooster, one daughter, Sharon Odom of Maumelle, AR, one granddaughter, Chung Chauvin (EJ) of Rogers, AR, one brother, Darrell Odom (Mary) of Greenbrier, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Mildred Odom of Southside, and his sister, Faye Ward of Springdale.

Doyle entered the Army in 1952. After discharge, he went to work for General Motors for 16 years. He later worked for Jodie Brown Motors in the finance department. He owned and operated Odom Oil Company from 1973-1987. Later he worked for the state of Arkansas and sold real estate for a short time as well.

Doyle enjoyed riding horses, fishing, gardening, and riding on his tractor. We are grateful for the compassionate care that was shown by Crystal, Jan, Jeanice, Stephanie, Alana, Laci, and Keisha at Seeds of Love.

Visitation will be at 10am Wednesday, June 20th and will precede the service at 11am at Wooster First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International and to Alzheimer's International.

How sad it was to learn of Doyle's passing. It was such a joy to have him as a friend.

We will be praying for all of the family until that certain reunion we will have with him in the clouds when we meet the Lord in the air.

In Christ's love,
Ann & Ed
