Polly Bridgeman, 81, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was born May 8, 1936 in Morrilton to the late Henry Franklin and Eva Irene Long Sledge. Polly was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Polly was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was employed as a receptionist at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier for 11 years. Polly loved serving families and served them with ultimate compassion and care. She was the wife of an Air Force veteran and traveled to many states and overseas. She was a very unselfish person, who always put others first. Polly will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Polly is survived by her husband of 63 years, John B. Bridgeman, two daughters, Debbie Lenhart (Lonnie) of Hattieville, AR and Cindy Demasi (Mark) of Haskell, AR, five grandchildren, John D. Bridgeman, Wesley Lenhart, Jamie Martin, Angie Rinehart, and Amanda Coterill, four great-grandchildren, Carson and Riley Lenhart, Ethen Bridgeman, and Matthew Rinehart, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with funeral service following at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Ken Gipson will be officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice of Conway, 1105 Deer St., Conway, AR 72032.
