I didn't know Mr Rowlett but I'll bet my Great Uncle Alvin Holland did, plus a bunch of my cousins that went to Quitman. I went to Quitman in the first grade when we lived east of McGinty Town. Roller McNutt is kind enough to send me emails of Obits and I just kind had good thoughts when I read about his life and family. Being a Democrat pushed me over the top. He must have been a very good man. Peace and Love to the family. Lonnie Freeman

Mr. and Mrs. Rowlett babysitted me as a young child and boy now how I realize what a handful I was! I referred to them as Pappy and Jane and proud to say that even to this day I can remember days I got to spend there, even thou most were me being a brat ;-) I was very, very sad to hear about Pappy. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Hope of a new world is found in God’s inspired Word, the Bible, which states: “[God] will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) This will include bringing back dead ones from the grave. As the apostle Paul wrote: “I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) Jesus and the apostles demonstrated this by resurrecting dead ones.—Luke 7:11-16; 8:40-42, 49-56; John 11:1, 14, 38-45; Acts 9:36-42; 20:7-12. Life on earth in a new world, including life for dead ones raised from the grave, will be beautifully crowned with human perfection. God’s healing power will make the minds and bodies of all living completely sound: “No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’”! I'm very sorry for your lose. May God's words seek to comfort you and your family. Sincerely, Meryl
