Clarence Harold Williams, 89, of Guy, passed from this life on Thursday, March 6, 2014. He was born on Sunday, July 13, 1924 in Mississippi, to the late Clarence Holland and Birdie Jewell (O'bannon) Williams.
He is a retired truck driver of forty years and attended Copperas Springs Baptist Church. He was a loving father that loved his family.
Those left to mourn his passing are his children, Shirley Majors (Lee) of Rockwell, Texas, Ann Wingfield (Weyman) of Guy, AR, Terry Williams (Judy) of Guy, AR, Lynn Acre (Boso) of Guy, AR, Jimmie Ann Hartwick (Ronnie) of Guy, AR, and Donna Treece (Barney) of Guy, AR; grandchildren, Tammy Shearer (Herb), Nathan Majors (Michelle), Beth Breeding, Troy Wingfield (Carol), Stacey Williams, Heath Williams (Amber), Jody Nutt (Joey), Amber McKenzie (Jeremy), Josh Acre (Summer), Bart Hartwick (Summer), April Rogers (Jerry), Adam Treece (Rita) and Brent Treece (Talia); thirty-three great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Murriel Crawford Williams, four brothers, one sister, son, Jerry ''Butch'' Williams, grandson, and two great-great granddaughters.
Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Copperas Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Burdin officiating. Burial will follow in Copperas Springs Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
