Jeanne Marie Welborn Bell

of Conway, AR

December 13, 1928 - September 29, 2018

Jeanne Marie (Welborn) Bell died September 29, 2018. Born in Carmel, Indiana, on December 13, 1928, to Theodore and Colletta Welborn, she married Robert Lee ''June'' Bell, Jr., in 1950. She worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone and as a receptionist for Conway Memorial Hospital and the Log Cabin Democrat. She loved sewing, cooking, and looking for a hot cup of coffee. Above all, she loved serving others, especially her family. To know her was to love her. Within minutes, she was everyone's friend and surrogate Mimi.

She leaves behind her siblings, Wanda Jackson, Judy Troillet, and Larry Welborn; her children Steve (Paula) Bell, Laura (Ray) Nabholz, Bruce (Melanie) Bell, and Bobbie (Michael) Huff; as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her sisters Rosemary Welborn and Dorothy Knapp, and great-granddaughter Emma Nabholz.

Pallbearers will be Grant Nabholz, Taylor Bell, Miles Bell, Blake Bell, Kraig Bowden, and Jeremy Bell

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethlehem House or the City of Hope Outreach.

A Family Graveside Service will take place Wednesday, October 3, 2018 prior to the Memorial Service at Family Life Bible Church in Conway at 4:00PM on 150 Hogan Rd. Conway, Arkansas 72034.

The family would like to thank Melissa Height for the special care of Mimi.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."
With sympathy

A great loss on this earth but certainly a beautiful blessing gained in Heaven! Thinking of family during such a sad time, and praying for peace in the broken hearts of everyone that knew and loved Jeanne. She is certainly rejoicing in the arms of Jesus and with the loved ones that left this earth before her. God Bless!
