Linda Newman, 74, of Conway, passed away at her home Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was born October 12, 1943 in Comanche, TX to the late Noble and Jurline Rutherford. Linda was also preceded in death by her loving husband, David Newman, and two of her brothers, Lloyd Rutherford and Dwaine Rutherford.
Linda is survived by one son, Richard Newman of Conway; three daughters, Beverley and Marcia Newman, both of Conway and Rebecca Newman of Oregon; grandson, Benton Newman of Conway; brother, Howard Rutherford of California; and numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
Linda was of the Baptist Faith and employed as a registered nurse for many years for Conway Regional Health System. She enjoyed oil painting, reupholstering furniture, puzzles, gardening, collecting elephant figurines, and spending time with family. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 16th at McNew Cemetery under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Chaplain Ted Grove will be officiating.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4 “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
