Mrs. Flossie Lucille Brimer Cato, 83 of Conway passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Flossie was born November 9, 1933 in Dogwood, Arkansas to Benjamin Isaac and Ruth Hutchins Brimer.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her best friend and husband of 60 years, Calvin Leon Cato; three sisters; eight brothers; and a precious granddaughter, Shannon Sample.
She is survived by her six children, Mary Jane Huett-Hardy (Jim Hardy) of Wooster, Kathy Jones (Clayton) of Hattiville, Jerl Cato (Pam) of Heber Springs, Darrell Cato (Sharon) of Toadsuck, Joanie Mahan (Jerry) of Springhill; and Polly Miller (Greek) of Wooster; Eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cato loved music, singing and playing her guitar in her earlier years. She was always happy to be around her family. Her grandchildren and her great grandchildren brought her great joy.
We wish to thank Salem Place for the exceptional care our Mother received for the five and one half years she made it her home.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
The Pallbearers will be Kevin ''Dino'' Huett, Chad Huett, Shawn Sample, Craig Cato, Justin Cato, Brandon Boyer, and Michael Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Wallace, Landon Sample, Shawn Kayden Sample, Jude Sample, Nicholas Huett, Eric Huett, Dawson Cato, Dylan Boyer, Kayden Cato, and Jamie Cato.
