James Wendell Talley, 70, Vilonia went to be with the Lord on June 25th.
Wendell was born on July 15, 1945. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He was retired from Benson Pump.
He was an outdoorsman who liked to deer hunt and spent many hours with his friends at the Road House Deer Camp at Liberty Springs.
He loved buying and selling old vehicles and trading junk. Wendell was a wonderful father and nothing pleased him more than spending quality time with his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Nannie Talley, and his daughter Jennifer Talley.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce Talley; his son, Doug Talley (Mandy); his two grandsons, Colt and Luke Talley, all of Greenbrier;
three sisters, Frances Barger, Phyllis Barnett (Darrell), and Sue Scroggins (Bobby); two brothers, Stanley ''Bud'' Talley and Ricky Shannon (Sharon); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday morning June 28th at 10:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church on Rocky Point Road, off of Saltillo Road. Visitation will be Monday night from 6-8 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, 767 Rocky Points Road, Conway, AR 72032.
We are so sorry for your loss, my family and I would like to extend our condolences. "And he will wipe out every tear from (your) eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Wendell was my friend. He was a good man and will be greatly missed.
