Sidney Maurice Knopp, 49, originally from Tuckerman, Arkansas, passed from this life on June 12, 2016. Born on March 19, 1967, in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland,
Sidney was a 1986 graduate of Tuckerman High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Tuckerman.
Sidney moved to Conway, Arkansas in 1989, where he eventually settled into a 20+ year career in various positions at Conway Regional Medical Center.

Sidney is survived by his grandfather, Orville E Knopp of Newport, his parents Orville M and Edelgard Knopp of Conway, brother Thomas Knopp and family of Greenbrier, brother Duwayne Knopp of Conway, and brother Mark Phillips of Lithia Springs, GA, sister Tammy Bowen and family of Conway, an uncle, Jerry Knopp of Newport, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is most remembered for his extreme kindness and gentle spirit, as well as his ready smile and willingness to help in almost any situation. His absence in this earthly life is
deeply felt, but his passage into the arms of his heavenly Father and family who went before him brings comfort and peace to those who loved him.
