Lonnie S. Williams, 70, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Duluth, GA. He was born on June 21, 1945 in Conway to the late Herbert and Gladys Spradlin Williams. He was a proud veteran of the Arkansas National Guard.

Lonnie is also preceded in death by two brothers, Farrell Williams and Loyd Williams and one sister, Hazel Tatro.

He is survived by one son, Gary Williams of Grady, AR; one daughter Lisa Shainker and husband Russell of Suwanee, GA; three grandchildren, Shelby McKeown, Kerri Ripley, and Brian Shainker; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Hale on Conway, Robbie Lay and husband Max of Conway, Carolyn Elmore and husband Lewis of Paola, KS, Shirley Swoda and husband Donald of Austin, TX; one brother Roger Williams and wife Debbie of Conway , several nieces and nephews and his best friend Don Thorton.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Monday, May 23, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Quitman, AR with John McKinney officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Marcus Hill Cemetery in Enola with military honors being rendered.

Pallbearers will be: Justin Cockrum, Gary Williams, Aaron Williams, Joey Terry, Addison O'Neill and David Ragland.
Honorary pallbearers are Russell Shainker, Tim Ragland and Brian Shainker.
